Platform Update: Smarter Workflows, Sharper Interface & Mobile Access
We're excited to share a series of meaningful improvements that have landed in MTM.Studio — spanning fabric discovery, 3D rendering, mobile access, measurements, invoicing, and production intelligence. Here's everything that's new.
Smarter Fabric Search
Finding the right fabric just became faster. At the top right of the platform, select "# Fabric" from the dropdown, enter a full or partial fabric number, and you land directly on the redesigned fabrics page.
A fabric page now displays alternative fabrics from other suppliers — matched by colour, pattern, and material — drawn from books already in your collection. Perfect for suggesting confident substitutions when a favourite is unavailable.
Stripe Payments Now Available
The Invoice Module now supports Stripe as a native payment option. Contact your Client Success Manager to enable it for your store.
Mobile Access: Take Your Studio Anywhere
MTM.Studio is now mobile-optimised for the most-used sections of the platform:
Mobile Fabrics Pages — search and browse in a touch-friendly layout
Mobile Client Profiles — navigate with minimal scrolling
New Measurement Page — cleaner, easier, and fully mobile-ready. You can now adjust allowances independently from body measurements
New Way to Add Books — search and add fabric books directly from the books page
More pages will be optimised in the coming weeks.
New Measurement Page — Live for Everyone
All accounts have been upgraded. Sections without measurements are hidden by default for clarity, body measurement fields now auto-save as you type, and reference measurements are always visible on the right side of the screen.
Coming soon: out-of-range measurements will trigger an immediate, detailed error — catching potential fitting issues before they reach production.
Simplified Invoicing & Smarter Production Checks
Shipping costs (and duties for U.S. stores) are now included directly in your main invoice — no more separate billing documents.
You may also notice more Production Conflicts flagged in the platform. Stricter validation rules have been added to surface potential issues before orders reach the production floor. Resolving them is recommended for time-sensitive orders — think of it as a pre-flight checklist.
